Control Concepts Inc.'s AirSweep is a great addition to AZO's portfolio of discharge aids in Southeast Asia. It's effectiveness of over a meter in radius with short bursts of plant air is generating less noise, is efficient and effective at the same time. Even wet and sticky materials can be motivated to move and as a result, bridging, ratholes and raw material built up in a hopper are eliminated. The typical hammer used in productions as a manual discharge aid is no more required. Reliable and residue free raw material handling is ensured and when it comes to maintenance, AirSweep is simply taken care of from the outside of the hopper reducing downtimes as well.
AZO has installed Airsweep nozzles at several silos and hoppers after plant operators or maintenance engineers had contacted AZO due to problems with the discharge of sticky or not flowing raw material. Since productivity is significantly impacted by discharge problems, AZO is able to act fast once been contacted. Airsweep nozzles are on stock and installation is done within a very short time, a long plant shut down is not required.
