For generating under-pressure in pneumatic vacuum conveying systems used for conveying of bulk materials. Determined by the system, large-dimension filters in the preceding receivers or secondary filters, which are automatically cleaned with compressed air, prevent dust from entering the vacuum blower. The complete V series has been conceived for continuous operation and has proved its worth in practical operation under hardest conditions. The gradation of the individual unit sizes permits an optimum lay out for any process.
Type V... vacuum blowers operate according to the rotary valve principle. An eccentric rotor rotates in the cylinder. Due to the centrifugal force of the rotary valve movement, the valves floating in slots in the rotor are pressed against the cylinder wall. The valves divide the sickle-shaped space between the cylinder and the rotor into chambers. When the chambers reach the vacuum channel, air is sucked, are compressed as the rotation continues and then ejected into the oil mist receiver. The differential pressure effects continuous injection of oil into the compression chambers. This oil together with the air is ejected into the oil mist receiver where it is separated from the exhaust air by means of the gravitational force and the additional air de-oiling element. The oil is collected at the bottom of the receiver and is again injected into the compression chamber (circular lubrication). The exhaust air, which is now free of oil mist, is emitted to the atmosphere via the venting cover.
